CVA KIGALI STARTS

On Saturday 02 May, members of the CVA of the city of Kigali, in the presence of the national office were very happy to meet for the first time children from ADEPR Kimihurura school.

During the visit, the children were also very happy to meet members of CVA. They introduced
themselves and explained to the children : their mission to help them to have recreation activities, to sharpen their sense of solidarity between them at school and even at home, because most of them live in the same neighborhoods. CVA members have advised the children to work in helping each other to prepare for the future. The most interesting part was the time of the game.

Before leaving, the children received various gifts from members of CVA

Visit to Shangasha - Children at Gicumbi Site

Activities marking the day began at 10:35 and ended at 12.35. All activities were held at GS Shangasha  and there were 40 children who attended.

The day began with an animation that was followed by training on the proper conduct and good health. The songs and games had themes for "how people can live peacefully together and help each other"

At last the children shared a meal of the day (juice and bread) while exchanging ideas

The ideas generated by participants

We have chosen ideas proposed by participants:

  • The participants wanted Children to be  grouped by taking  account of  their ages and that to provide for them a formation of one or two whole days.
  • The participants also want CVA  to build a village of children.
